Description:
Been having fun with cars, now it's time to make some room for the next projects and let others enjoy these amazingly collectible pieces of Americana. We are the third owner of this 1934 Model 40A DeLuxe V-8 Fordor Sedan, and the title comes directly from Ford Motor Co. to the person from whom the car was purchased. This BONNIE and CLYDE Ford proudly features the original Flathead 21-stud V8 engine, including the two-barrel version mounted on a longer intake manifold, and a smooth-operating 3-speed manual transmission. The engine drivetrain and mechanics remain in their original form with absolutely no customization. For reliable starts, a brand-new battery and voltage regulator have been installed, complemented by what appears to be the original generator, complete with a battery disconnect for times of storage. While the odometer reads 48,958 miles, and we believe this to be the original mileage, we unfortunately lack the documentation to definitively support this claim. Maintaining 96% of its original era specifications, this fabulous 1934 Ford Model 40 comes equipped with special deluxe options such as dual cowl lights, dual taillights, cowl ventilation, cigarette lighter, glove box, adjustable front seat, and more. Additional features include a driver-side mirror, Firestone Deluxe Champion 5.25-5.50 wide whitewall tires, and a rear-mounted full spare tire on a potters trunk, adding to the car's distinctive appearance. With its wonderful aesthetics and smooth driving experience, this iconic piece of Ford Historic Automobiles could become your next daily driver.
