1955 Ford Country Sedan 6 passenger station wagon; was an airport"follow me" vehicle in Florida.when acquired by restoration shop in Long Island New York for apprentice mechanics to learn their trade. Shop specialized in "high end" cars and therefore owner demanded perfection from all his mechanics. He said he had in excess of $20k in this unit using only his apprentices, and car shows it. Body on restoration. Medium blue with white accents around windows. Blue interior and blue carpet Paint is beautiful; as good as I have seen on a restoration of this nature. Only faults are rock chip in hood molding and slight sagging of driver seat and radio inoperative. Engine and transmission overhauled. Power Pak V8 4 barrel carb and dual exhaust. Standard on station wagon. Three speed Fordomatic transmission Brakes work fine. Always used Amoco 91 octane gasoline; never used gasohol. TBird valve covers. Wide White radials.Always garaged by present owner, Never in moisture. Under carriage clean.Owner has had more than ten special interest cars and this one has the best body. Reasons for sale: illness, age 75, too many cars.
