Description:

Moving and need to sell! 1957 was Pontiac's year! A stock Chieftain with an upgraded camshaft (available as a dealer installed option) won the Daytona Grand National and set a speed record doing it with Cotton Owens at the wheel. New for 1957 was a larger 347ci V8 engine that made 317hp, which was the winning combination at the Grand Nationals. This 1957 Super Chief has a rebuilt Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor on Edelbrock manifold good for 270 hp, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning (aftermarket). All the lights work, including the dome and trunk lights, and the clock still works! Kenya Ivory with black accent spears. New points, plugs, condenser. All new brakes including master cylinder. New battery. It includes repair manuals and lots of memorabilia (See photos). The included CD has the 1957 Pontiac service manual and all the advertising that was in print that year. It also has a complete parts list which will come in handy. Want people to walk up to you and ask “what kind of car is that?” This car gets the attention at the shows. Don't miss this opportunity to own a car that is better in every way than a tri-five Chevrolet. Bigger engines, better styling in my opinion, much more rare and unique and attention getting, and racing heritage that Chevy can't match. I have a clear Tennessee title in hand.
