1977 MG MGB
Tucson, AZ, 85718

Features:

Mileage: 106,702
Engine: 4 cyl.
Transmission: Auto
Drive Type: RWD
Exterior: Red
Interior: Black

Description:

I bought this car back in 1997, I am the second owner. The original engine had a spun rod bearing, so I replaced it with an MGOC (MG Owners Club) professionally built Stage II engine (see images for engine rebuild details). Current mileage is 6,702, so the MGOC engine only has 7,709 miles on it. Its a 4 speed with overdrive. The engine had recent tune-up with the valves being adjusted, new plugs and carbs syncd and the oil changed. The body is very nice and straight with zero rust anywhere. Semi-completely restored (not on a rotisserie). Everything has been gone through. The underside was completely undercoated. Front suspension rebuilt with polyurethane bushings; cross member was powdered-coated. It was re-painted in 2002 with black rally stripe down the driver center, which accents the body style perfectly and has always been garage kept. It has Mazda Miata seats reupholstered in black with red inserts to match the car. Have original purchase order from San Jose British Motors Cars (and 2 folders of receipts since it was bought). The MGB is located in Tucson, Az. Asking price is negotiable.
