This 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible may be the only third gen f-body that has been swapped to the 6L80 six speed auto trans. with tap shift. Although originally built with 5.3 LS for power, and driven all over the country with that combination, a crate 6.2 LS3 replaced the 5.3 in the fall of 2018. The crate LS3 has about 4,500 miles on it. A ford 8.8 rear then replaced the weaker GM 10 bolt. The 8.8 includes 31 spline axles ,a 331 gear ratio and a TORSEN T2R limited slip. The fuel system includes a Ractronic remote fuel pump relay and in-tank pump and an under hood Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. The brakes are C4 HD corvette 13 drilled rotor in front and 12 drilled fourth gen rotors rear. The exhaust uses fourth gen manifolds , a custom 2.5 inch y-pipe with duel cats and a three inch cat back. The wheels are c5 corvette reproductions , 9.5x18 with 275x40x18 nearly new General tires. The convertible top has been replaced with a high quality top with a glass rear window. The interior is very nice Flame red leather. The engine front accessory drive [ AC, POWER STEERING ECT.] is by KWIK performance. All the gauges ,Ac , Cruise and radio with Cd player and accessory input work as they should. This is a great car that is only for sale because I bought another car and need the garage space.
