I have a 1985 Mustang GT that is the last year of the GT Mustangs with a carburetor, destined to be a classic. The odometer reads 90,262 miles, but the mileage is probably 190,262 miles. I purchased the car with 88,000 miles and have owned it for at least 20 years. It runs strong for a 302 with that many miles. It does leak from the rear main seal and the heater core leaks and is bypassed. I changed out the carburetor for an Edelbrock carburetor. Other than that all is original. It does need new mufflers, however. Drives great and is still pretty quick off the line. I hate to part with it, but I am too old to do it justice.
I hasten to add that the car was hit on the driver's side and had to have the door and rear quarter panel replaced, but the title is clear. The car needs a complete repaint.
