1957 Cadillac Fleetwood. This used to be my grandpa's car. My mother was an only child so when my grandpa passed away in 1971, we got the car. My mother always told me my grandpa was a Cadillac man his whole life, he had a Packard 1 time in the 30's. He was a master mechanical genius his whole life. I also have the original 1957 Cadillac shop manual which my grandpa had since 1957. I don't want to sell this car, but I have to. I had a stroke 1 yr. ago...I just sold my Harley Davidson which I rode for 46 yr. & now I realize it's time for my grandpa's Cadillac. I have no kids, so it has to leave the family now. I see what other old Cadillac's are selling for now; my car of course has never had other owners or things like that. My grandpa used to drive the car once a week on Sundays until 1971& he would drive it from his house to the food market then drive it to his daughter's house. Grandpa lost his wife in 1954 so from 57 till 1971 all he ever had in his car was him & his girlfriend. The car still has the original paint from General Motors. I also want to let you know my grandpa never smoked cigarettes and I never did either, so the ashtrays have never been used. My grandpa never drove his car to work as he walked everyday as he was only 3 blocks away.
