This 1966 chevy is upgraded with a 8.1 Vortec engine and the transmission that came with the engine (from a 1990s Surburban). (The truck is the long bed) It has been converted to fuel injection, front disk brakes, power steering, vintage air conditioner. The fuel tank was moved to under the bed, it has a Dakota dash with all systems working. There was something that happened to the truck when I was driving it. After driving it for about 60 miles at about 65 mph, something happened under the hood that caused the engine to shake or vibrate at high speeds. The engine runs great until about 40 mph, then the vibrations start. This happened about 3 years ago, and I have not checked under the truck, but I think that it may be a motor mount that may have broken. Anyone interested is free to have a look under the truck. I don't plan on having any more work done to it myself. It's a Beast of a truck! I just call it The Beast! The tires are no good on the truck, but if that will help me sell it, I will buy new tires.
